ABOUT CENTRAL ELECTRICITY BOARD

      The Central Electricity Board (CEB) is a parastatal body wholly owned by the Government of Mauritius and operating under the aegis of the Ministry of Energy and Public Utilities. Established in 1952 and empowered by the Central Electricity Board Act 1963, the CEB's business is to "prepare and carry out development schemes with the general object of promoting, coordinating and improving the generation, transmission, distribution and sale of electricity" in Mauritius.

      The Supplier Portal facilitates procurement processes by connecting the CEB with suppliers in a secure, online environment. It provides a platform that allows suppliers to register online and download bidding documents.

      CEB FIBERNET

      CEB (FIBERNET) Co Ltd is a private company, fully owned by the CEB. It is licensed by the ICTA to provide Wholesale Data Services to licensed operators in Mauritius. It is leveraging on CEB’s extensive utility infrastructure (OPGW/ADSS) and METISS submarine international connectivity to encourage the deployment of world-class broadband infrastructure in the country.
