SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC SCHEME (HOUSEHOLDS) - 2026

The CEB SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC SCHEME (HOUSEHOLDS) 2026 is a revamped version of previous renewable energy schemes for Domestic Customers. It merges the key features of the former CEB SSDG Net Metering Scheme, launched in 2015, and the recent CEB Solar PV Scheme for Domestic Customers (Households) of 2021.

This new revamped Scheme is in line with Government Programme 2025-2029 to provide additional incentives for upscaling and accelerating households’ investment in solar photovoltaic installations.

Henceforth, households willing to generate their own electricity and achieve a level energy autonomy and security through the acquisition of hybrid solar system (photovoltaic with battery energy storage system) can notify the CEB by submitting an application under this new Scheme.

The Connection Agreement, Installation Certificate documents and other related documents of the scheme will be made available shortly.
