OVERVIEW OF THE CEB HOME SOLAR PROJECT PHASE 2B 2025 
Within the Framework of the Renewable Energy Roadmap 2035, the Central Electricity Board (CEB) is embarking on Phase 2B of the HOME SOLAR PROJECT and is hereby inviting eligible domestic customers to Express their Interest under same. The interested domestic customers should send “HSP”, followed by their “Electricity contract account number” by SMS on 59 54 59 54, to verify their eligibility. The eligible customers shall thereafter be contacted for submitting an application form at any CEB Customer Service Centre, located around the island. Furthermore, a technical assessment of the beneficiary house roof shall be carried out prior to proceeding with installation of the PV kit.
The Scheme is another action to contribute towards meeting the national target of 60% of Renewable Energy in the electricity production mix by 2035. Each qualified customer will benefit from the installation of a solar PV kit. The PV kit will be installed by CEB free of charge. The investment and operational & maintenance costs will also be borne by the CEB.
Under this Scheme, for a period of 20 years, a qualified domestic customer will receive for free, every month, 100kWh as a monetary credit in its monthly electricity bill.
The Terms and Conditions of the Scheme, as detailed below, will be applied to implement the Scheme.
