OVERVIEW OF THE CEB SOLAR PV SCHEME FOR EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS 

In line with the measures announced in the National Budget Speech 2021-2022, the Central Electricity Board (CEB) is pleased to inform its customers and the general public of the launching of the “CEB Solar PV Scheme for Educational Institutions” on 31 December 2021.

An interested educational institution should first send an SMS on the mobile number 5954-5954 to express its interest for the Scheme.
The SMS should provide the Electricity Contract Account Number of the educational institution. Thereafter, the educational institution should duly fill-in the applicable application form and submit it with all required documents at one of the CEB’s Customer Service Centres.
